بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنِ الْخَذْفِ:
Chapter. It is forbidden to throw stones (with the thumb and the index or middle finger).
Hadith 6220
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ صُهْبَانَ الْأَزْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّ ، قَالَ : نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْخَذْفِ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَا يَقْتُلُ الصَّيْدَ ، وَلَا يَنْكَأُ الْعَدُوَّ ، وَإِنَّهُ يَفْقَأُ الْعَيْنَ وَيَكْسِرُ السِّنَّ " .
Narrated `Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al-Muzani: The Prophet forbade the throwing of stones (with the thumb and the index or middle finger), and said "It neither hunts a game nor kills (or hurts) an enemy, but it gouges out an eye or breaks a tooth."
