Hadith 5402
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: My aunt presented (roasted) mastigures, Iqt and milk to the Prophet . The mastigures were put on his dining sheet, and if it was unlawful to eat, it would not have been put there. The Prophet drank the milk and ate the Iqt only.
And Humaid said that I heard Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) say that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) married Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her), (for the wedding feast) dates, cheese, and ghee were served. And Amr bin Abi Amr narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made a mixture of (dates, cheese, and ghee).
