كتاب النكاحThe Book of (The Wedlock)
بَابُ تَزْوِيجِ الْمُعْسِرِ الَّذِي مَعَهُ الْقُرْآنُ وَالإِسْلاَمُ:
Chapter. The marrying of a poor man who has the knowledge of the Quran and is a Muslim.
Hadith 5071
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَغْزُو مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ لَنَا نِسَاءٌ ، فَقُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَلَا نَسْتَخْصِي ؟ فَنَهَانَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Narrated Ibn Masud: We used to fight in the holy battles in the company of the Prophet and we had no wives with us. So we said, "O Allah's Apostle! Shall we get castrated?" The Prophet forbade us to do so.
فِيهِ : سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
In this chapter, there is also a hadith narrated from the Prophet (ﷺ) by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 5071
فِيهِ : سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
In this chapter, there is also a hadith narrated from the Prophet (ﷺ) by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him).
