بَابُ مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ:
Chapter. Whoever does not recite the Quran in a pleasant tone.
Hadith 5023
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمْ يَأْذَنِ اللَّهُ لِشَيْءٍ ، مَا أَذِنَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ " . وَقَالَ صَاحِبٌ لَهُ : يُرِيدُ يَجْهَرُ بِهِ .
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Allah does not listen to a prophet as He listens to a prophet who recites the Qur'an in a pleasant tone." The companion of the sub-narrator (Abu Salama) said, "It means, reciting it aloud."
وَقَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ سورة العنكبوت آية 51 .
And the statement of Allah, the Exalted: «أولم يكفهم أنا أنزلنا عليك الكتاب يتلى عليهم» "Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book which is recited to them?"
Hadith 5023
وَقَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ سورة العنكبوت آية 51 .
And the statement of Allah, the Exalted: «أولم يكفهم أنا أنزلنا عليك الكتاب يتلى عليهم» "Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book which is recited to them?"

Hadith 5024
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا أَذِنَ اللَّهُ لِشَيْءٍ ، مَا أَذِنَ لِلنَّبِيِّ أَنْ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ " . قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : تَفْسِيرُهُ يَسْتَغْنِي بِهِ .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet I said, "Allah does not listen to a prophet as He listens to a prophet who recites the Qur'an in a loud and pleasant tone." Sufyan said, "This saying means: a prophet who regards the Qur'an as something that makes him dispense with many worldly pleasures."
