Hadith 4974
وَقَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ : حَمَّالَةُ الْحَطَبِ : تَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِنْ مَسَدٍ ، يُقَالُ مِنْ مَسَدٍ لِيفِ الْمُقْلِ وَهِيَ السِّلْسِلَةُ الَّتِي فِي النَّارِ .
Mujahid said «حمالة الحطب» tale-bearer. «في جيدها حبل من مسد» say that by «مسد» is meant the bark of the tree of Google; some have said it means the rope of Hell.
يُقَالُ لَا يُنَوَّنُ أَحَدٌ أَيْ وَاحِدٌ .
It has been said that «أحد» is not to be read with tanween, rather the letter "dal" should be read as sakin (without a vowel). The meaning of «أحد» is "He is One."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " قَالَ اللَّهُ : كَذَّبَنِي ابْنُ آدَمَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ ، وَشَتَمَنِي وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ ، فَأَمَّا تَكْذِيبُهُ إِيَّايَ فَقَوْلُهُ لَنْ يُعِيدَنِي كَمَا بَدَأَنِي ، وَلَيْسَ أَوَّلُ الْخَلْقِ بِأَهْوَنَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ إِعَادَتِهِ ، وَأَمَّا شَتْمُهُ إِيَّايَ فَقَوْلُهُ اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا ، وَأَنَا الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ أَلِدْ ، وَلَمْ أُولَدْ ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِي كُفْئًا أَحَدٌ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Allah said: 'The son of Adam tells a lie against Me,, though he hasn't the right to do so. He abuses me though he hasn't the right to do so. As for his telling a lie against Me, it is his saying that I will not recreate him as I created him for the first time. In fact, the first creation was not easier for Me than new creation. As for his abusing Me, it is his saying that Allah has begotten children, while I am the One, the Self-Sufficient Master Whom all creatures need, I beget not, nor was I begotten, and there is none like unto Me."
