The Book of Commentary
بَابُ: {وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُمْ بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُسْتَقِرٌّ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ} :
(4) Chapter. "And verily, an abiding torment seized them early in the morning. Then, taste you My Torment and My Warnings." (V.54:38,39)
Hadith 4873
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ :فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ سورة القمر آية 40 " .
Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet recited: 'Fahal-min Muddakir': 'And verily, We have destroyed nations like unto you; then is there any that will receive admonition?' (54.51)
