By "wakeel" is meant a guardian and one who watches over or surrounds him. «قبلا», «قبيل» is the plural, meaning types of punishment. «قبيل» is each type. «زخرف» means vain and useless things (or words) which are outwardly adorned. («زخرف القول» means flattering words). «حرث حجر» means prevented. «حجر» is said for what is forbidden and prohibited. From this comes «حجر محجور», and «حجر» is also said for a building, and for female horses, and for intellect, «حجر» and «حجى.» are used. In «اصحاب الحجر», the people of Thamud's settlement are meant, and the land which you prevent anyone from entering or grazing animals in is also called «حجر». From this, the «حطيم» of the Ka'bah is called «حجر». «حطيم» is in the meaning of «محطوم», like «قتيل» is in the meaning of «مقتول». As for the «حجر» of Yamamah, it is the name of a place.
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "The Hour will not be established until the sun rises from the West: and when the people see it, then whoever will be living on the surface of the earth will have faith, and that is (the time) when no good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before." (6.158)
