The Virtues and Merits of The Companions of The Prophet
بَابُ فَضَائِلِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
(1) Chapter. The virtues of the Companions of the Prophet.
2بَابُ مَنَاقِبِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَفَضْلِهِمْ:
(2) Chapter. The virtues ot tne emigrants (i.e., Muhajirun) and their merits.
3بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «سُدُّوا الأَبْوَابَ إِلاَّ بَابُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ»:
(3) Chapter. The saying of the Prophet , “Close the gates (in the Mosque), except the gate of Abu Bakr.”
4بَابُ فَضْلِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
(4) Chapter. The merits of Abu Bakr as next to those of the Prophet (in excellence).
5بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلاً»:
(5) Chapter. The saying of the Prophet: “If I were to take a Khalil...".
6بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَبِي حَفْصٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ الْعَدَوِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(6) Chapter. The merits of Umar bin Al-Khattab Abi Hafs Al-Qurashi Al-Adawi.
7بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الْقُرَشِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(7) Chapter. The virtues of Uthman bin Affan Abi Amr Al-Qurashi.
8بَابُ قِصَّةُ الْبَيْعَةِ، وَالاِتِّفَاقُ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(8) Chapter. The story of the Bai’a (pledge) (after Umar) and the unanimous election of of Uthman bin Affan as a caliph.
9بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ الْقُرَشِيِّ الْهَاشِمِيِّ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(9) Chapter. The merits of Ali bin Abi Talib Al-Qurashi Al-Hashimi, Abul-Hasan.
10بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ:
(10) Chapter. The merits of Jafar bin Abi Talib Al-Hashimi.
11بَابُ ذِكْرُ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(11) Chapter. The mention of Al-Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib.
12بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ قَرَابَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَنْقَبَةِ فَاطِمَةَ عَلَيْهَا السَّلاَمُ بِنْتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
(12) Chapter. The virtues of the relatives of Allah’s Messenger. And the merits of Fatima the daughter of the Prophet.
13بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ:
(13) Chapter. The merits of Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam.
14بَابُ ذِكْرِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ:
(14) Chapter. (Narrations) about Talha bin Ubaidullah.
15بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ
(15) Chapter. The merits of Sad bin Abi Waqqas Az-Zuhri.
16بَابُ ذِكْرُ أَصْهَارِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهُمْ أَبُو الْعَاصِ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ:
(16) Chapter. Narrations about the sons-in-law of the Prophet and one of them is Abu Al-As bin Ar-Rabi.
17بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ مَوْلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
(17) Chapter. The virtues of Zaid bin Haritha, the freed slave of the Prophet.
18بَابُ ذِكْرُ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ:
(18) Chapter. Narrations about Usama bin Zaid.
19بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا:
(19) Chapter. The merits of Abdullah bin Umar Al-Khattab.
20بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عَمَّارٍ وَحُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا:
(20) Chapter. The virtues of Ammar (bin Yasir) and Hudhaifa (bin Al-Yaman).
21بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(21) Chapter. The virtues of Abu Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah.
22بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا:
(22) Chapter. The merits of Al- Hasan and Al-Husain.
23بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ بِلاَلِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا:
(23) Chapter. The merits of Bilal bin Rabah, freed slave of Abu Bakr.
24بَابُ ذِكْرُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا:
(24) Chapter. Narrations about Ibn Abbas.
25بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(25) Chapter. The merits of Khalid bin Al-Walid.
26بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ سَالِمٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(26) Chapter. The merits of Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifa.
27بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(27) Chapter. The merits of Abdullah bin Masud.
28بَابُ ذِكْرُ مُعَاوِيَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ:
(28) Chapter. Narration about Muawiya.
29بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ فَاطِمَةَ عَلَيْهَا السَّلاَمُ:
(29) Chapter. The merits of Fatima.
30بَابُ فَضْلِ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا:
(30) Chapter. The superiority of Aishah.
