The Book of The Beginning of Creation
بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ} :
(1) Chapter. What is mentioned in the Statement of Allah (in this respect): “And He it is Who originates the creation; then will repeat (after it has been perished) and this is easier for Him..." (V.30:27)
2بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ:
(2) Chapter. What has been said regarding the seven earths.
3بَابُ صِفَةِ الشَّمْسِ وَالْقَمَرِ:
(4) Chapter. Characteristic of the sun and the moon. [The sun and the moon run on their fixed courses (exactly) caculated with measured out stages for each (for reckoning)]. (V.55:5)
4بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: {وَهْوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ نُشُرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ} :
(5) Chapter. Allah’s Statement: “And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before his Mercy (rain)...” (V.25:48)
5بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ:
(6) Chapter. The reference to angels.
6بَابُ إِذَا قَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ آمِينَ. وَالْمَلاَئِكَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ، فَوَافَقَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الأُخْرَى، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ:
(7) Chapter. "If anyone says Amin [during the Salat (prayer) at the end of the recitation of Surat Al-Fatiha], and the angels in heaven say the same, and the sayings of two coincide, all his past sins will be forgiven".
7بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي صِفَةِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَنَّهَا مَخْلُوقَةٌ:
(8) Chapter. What is said regarding the characteristics of Paradise, and the fact that it has already been created (and does exist now).
8بَابُ صِفَةِ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ:
(9) Chapter. The characteristics of the gates of Paradise.
9بَابُ صِفَةِ النَّارِ وَأَنَّهَا مَخْلُوقَةٌ:
(10) Chapter. The description of the (Hell) Fire and the fact that it has already been created.
10بَابُ صِفَةِ إِبْلِيسَ وَجُنُودِهِ:
(11) Chapter. The characteristics of Iblis (Satan) and his soldiers.
11بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْجِنِّ وَثَوَابِهِمْ وَعِقَابِهِمْ:
(12) Chapter. The mention of Jinn, their reward and retribution.
12بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ} :
(14) Chapter. The Statement of Allah: "...And the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He (Allah) has scattered therein...” (V.2:164).
13بَابُ خَيْرُ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِ غَنَمٌ يَتْبَعُ بِهَا شَعَفَ الْجِبَالِ:
(15) Chapter. The best property of a Muslim will be sheep he takes to pasture on the tops of mountains.
14بَابُ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ فَوَاسِقُ يُقْتَلْنَ فِي الْحَرَمِ:
(16) Chapter. Five kinds of animals are Fawaisiq (harmful), and one is allowed to kill them even in the Sanctuary (Al-Haram) of Makkah and Al-Madina.
15بَابُ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي شَرَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ، فَإِنَّ فِي إِحْدَى جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً وَفِي الأُخْرَى شِفَاءً:
(17) Chapter. If a housefly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease.
