Narrated Anas: The Prophet saw a man driving a Badana (i.e. camel for sacrifice) and said to him, "Ride on it." The man said, "O Allah's Apostle! It is a Bandana." (The Prophet repeated his order) and on the third or fourth time he said, "Ride it, (woe to you" or said: "May Allah be merciful to you).
‘And ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) stipulated (for his endowment) that there would be no harm if the one in charge of it ate from the endowment. (According to the rule) the endower himself can be the administrator of the endowment, and so can another person. Similarly, if someone endowed a camel or any other thing in the way of Allah, then just as others can benefit from it, the one who made the endowment can also benefit from it, even if he did not stipulate this condition at the time of endowment.
