The Book of Ghusl (Washing of the Whole Body)
بَابُ هَلْ يُدْخِلُ الْجُنُبُ يَدَهُ فِي الإِنَاءِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهَا إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَى يَدِهِ قَذَرٌ غَيْرُ الْجَنَابَةِ:
(9) Chapter. Can a Junub (a person who has yet to take a bath after the sexual act or wet dream) put his hands in a pot (containing water) before washing them if they are not polluted with a dirty thing except Janaba?

Hadith 261
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot of water and our hands used to go in the pot after each other in turn.
Hadith 262
حَدَّثَنَا
مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ
هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ " .
Narrated `Aisha: Whenever Allah's Apostle took a bath of Janaba, he washed his hands first.
Hadith 263
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot of water after Janaba.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet and one of his wives used to take a bath from a single pot of water. (Shu`ba added to Anas' Statement "After the Janaba").
