كِتَاب الْغُسْل
The Book of Ghusl (Washing of the Whole Body)

بَابُ الْوُضُوءِ قَبْلَ الْغُسْلِ:
Chapter. The performance of ablution before taking a bath.
2 بَابُ غُسْلِ الرَّجُلِ مَعَ امْرَأَتِهِ:Chapter. Taking a bath by a man along with his wife.
3 بَابُ الْغُسْلِ بِالصَّاعِ وَنَحْوِهِ:Chapter. Taking a bath with a Sa of water or so. (One Sa = 3 kilograms approx.)
4 بَابُ مَنْ أَفَاضَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلاَثًا:Chapter. Pouring water thrice on one’s head.
5 بَابُ الْغُسْلِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً:Chapter. To wash the body (parts) once only.
6 بَابُ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالْحِلاَبِ أَوِ الطِّيبِ عِنْدَ الْغُسْلِ:Chapter. Starting one’s bath by scenting oneself with Hilab or some other scent.
7 بَابُ الْمَضْمَضَةِ وَالاِسْتِنْشَاقِ فِي الْجَنَابَةِ:Chapter. To rinse the mouth and to clean the nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out while taking the bath of Janaba.
8 بَابُ مَسْحِ الْيَدِ بِالتُّرَابِ لِيَكُونَ أَنْقَى:Chapter. The rubbing of hands with earth in order to clean them thoroughly.
9 بَابُ هَلْ يُدْخِلُ الْجُنُبُ يَدَهُ فِي الإِنَاءِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْسِلَهَا إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَى يَدِهِ قَذَرٌ غَيْرُ الْجَنَابَةِ:Chapter. Can a Junub (a person who has yet to take a bath after the sexual act or wet dream) put his hands in a pot (containing water) before washing them if they are not polluted with a dirty thing except Janaba?
10 بَابُ تَفْرِيقِ الْغُسْلِ وَالْوُضُوءِ:Chapter. Interval during ablution or bath.
11 بَابُ مَنْ أَفْرَغَ بِيَمِينِهِ عَلَى شِمَالِهِ فِي الْغُسْلِ:Chapter. Pouring water with one’s right hand over the left one, during the bath.
12 بَابُ إِذَا جَامَعَ ثُمَّ عَادَ، وَمَنْ دَارَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فِي غُسْلٍ وَاحِدٍ:Chapter. Having sexual intercourse and repeating it. And engaging with one’s own wives and taking a single bath (after doing so).
13 بَابُ غَسْلِ الْمَذْيِ وَالْوُضُوءِ مِنْهُ:Chapter. The washing away of emotional urethral discharge and performing ablution after it.
14 بَابُ مَنْ تَطَيَّبَ ثُمَّ اغْتَسَلَ وَبَقِيَ أَثَرُ الطِّيبِ:Chapter. Whoever scented himself and then took a bath while the effect of scent remained even after bathing.
15 بَابُ تَخْلِيلِ الشَّعَرِ حَتَّى إِذَا ظَنَّ أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَرْوَى بَشَرَتَهُ أَفَاضَ عَلَيْهِ:Chapter. To rub the hair thoroughly (while taking a bath) till one feels that one has made his skin wet (underneath the hair) and then one pours water over it.
16 بَابُ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فِي الْجَنَابَةِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ سَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ، وَلَمْ يُعِدْ، غَسْلَ مَوَاضِعِ الْوُضُوءِ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى:Chapter. Whoever performed the ablution of Janaba and then washed his body but did not wash once again the parts which were washed in ablution.
17 بَابُ إِذَا ذَكَرَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَنَّهُ جُنُبٌ يَخْرُجُ كَمَا هُوَ وَلاَ يَتَيَمَّمُ:Chapter. If someone while in the mosque remembers that he is Junub , he should leave (the mosque to take a bath) and should not perform Tayammum.
18 بَابُ نَفْضِ الْيَدَيْنِ مِنَ الْغُسْلِ عَنِ الْجَنَابَةِ:Chapter. The removing of water from one’s body with one’s hands after taking the bath of Janaba.
19 بَابُ مَنْ بَدَأَ بِشِقِّ رَأْسِهِ الأَيْمَنِ فِي الْغُسْلِ:Chapter. Starting from the right side of one’s head while taking a bath.
20 بَابُ مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ عُرْيَانًا وَحْدَهُ فِي الْخَلْوَةِ، وَمَنْ تَسَتَّرَ فَالتَّسَتُّرُ أَفْضَلُ:Chapter. Whosoever took a bath alone (in seclusion) completely naked.
21 بَابُ التَّسَتُّرِ فِي الْغُسْلِ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ:Chapter. To screen oneself from the people while taking a bath.
22 بَابُ إِذَا احْتَلَمَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ:Chapter. If a woman has a wet dream (nocturnal sexual discharge).
23 بَابُ عَرَقِ الْجُنُبِ وَأَنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ لاَ يَنْجُسُ:Chapter. (What is said regarding) the sweat of a Junub. And a Muslim never becomes impure.
24 بَابُ الْجُنُبُ يَخْرُجُ وَيَمْشِي فِي السُّوقِ وَغَيْرِهِ:Chapter. A Junub (person) can go out and walk in the market or anywhere else.
25 بَابُ كَيْنُونَةِ الْجُنُبِ فِي الْبَيْتِ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ:Chapter. A Junub can stay at home without taking a bath but with ablution.
26 بَابُ نَوْمِ الْجُنُبِ:Chapter. Sleeping of a Junub person.
27 بَابُ الْجُنُبِ يَتَوَضَّأُ ثُمَّ يَنَامُ:Chapter. A Junub person should perform ablution before sleeping.
28 بَابُ إِذَا الْتَقَى الْخِتَانَانِ:Chapter. When male and female organs come in close contact (bath becomes compulsory).
29 بَابُ غَسْلِ مَا يُصِيبُ مِنْ فَرْجِ الْمَرْأَةِ:Chapter. Washing away what comes out from the private parts of a woman (woman’s discharge) if one gets soiled with that.
