The Book of Quarrels

بَابُ إِخْرَاجِ أَهْلِ الْمَعَاصِي وَالْخُصُومِ مِنَ الْبُيُوتِ بَعْدَ الْمَعْرِفَةِ:

Chapter. Turning out the sinners and the quarrel some people of the houses after the impropriety of their behaviour gets evident.

Hadith 2420
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ آمُرَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَتُقَامَ ، ثُمَّ أُخَالِفَ إِلَى مَنَازِلِ قَوْمٍ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الصَّلَاةَ ، فَأُحَرِّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "No doubt, I intended to order somebody to pronounce the Iqama of the (compulsory congregational) prayer and then I would go to the houses of those who do not attend the prayer and burn their houses over them."
وَقَدْ أَخْرَجَ عُمَرُ أُخْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ حِينَ نَاحَتْ .
And when Abu Bakr’s (may Allah be pleased with him) sister, Umm Farwah (may Allah be pleased with her), lamented at the death of As-Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him) expelled her (from her house).
