كتاب الصوم
The Book of As-Saum (The Fasting).
بَابُ لَمْ يَعِبْ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا فِي الصَّوْمِ وَالإِفْطَارِ:
(37) Chapter. The Companions of the Prophet ﷺ did not criticize each other for observing Saum (fast) or not observing Saum (fast) (on journeys).
Hadith 1947
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نُسَافِرُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمْ يَعِبْ الصَّائِمُ عَلَى الْمُفْطِرِ ، وَلَا الْمُفْطِرُ عَلَى الصَّائِمِ " .
Narrated Anas bin Malik: We used to travel with the Prophet and neither did the fasting persons criticize those who were not fasting, nor did those who were not fasting criticize the fasting ones.
