بَابُ الصَّائِمِ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ نَاسِيًا:
Chapter. If a person observing Saum (fast) ate or drank forgetfully (should he observe Saum another day in lieu of that day)?
Hadith 1933
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا نَسِيَ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ ، فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ ، فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاهُ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "If somebody eats or drinks forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk, has been given to him by Allah."
وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ : إِنِ اسْتَنْثَرَ فَدَخَلَ الْمَاءُ فِي حَلْقِهِ لَا بَأْسَ إِنْ لَمْ يَمْلِكْ ، وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ : إِنْ دَخَلَ حَلْقَهُ الذُّبَابُ فَلَا شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ ، وَمُجَاهِدٌ : إِنْ جَامَعَ نَاسِيًا فَلَا شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ .
And Ata said that if a fasting person put water in his nose and it went down into his throat, then there is no harm if he cannot expel it. And Imam Hasan al-Basri said that if a fly enters the throat of a fasting person, his fast is not invalidated. And Imam Hasan al-Basri and Mujahid said that if someone has intercourse forgetfully, then making up the fast is not obligatory upon him.
Hadith 1933
وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ : إِنِ اسْتَنْثَرَ فَدَخَلَ الْمَاءُ فِي حَلْقِهِ لَا بَأْسَ إِنْ لَمْ يَمْلِكْ ، وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ : إِنْ دَخَلَ حَلْقَهُ الذُّبَابُ فَلَا شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ ، وَمُجَاهِدٌ : إِنْ جَامَعَ نَاسِيًا فَلَا شَيْءَ عَلَيْهِ .
