33 بَابُ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُومَاتٌ فَمَنْ فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ فَلاَ رَفَثَ وَلاَ فُسُوقَ وَلاَ جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ} :

Chapter. The Statement of Allah:

34 بَابُ التَّمَتُّعِ وَالإِقْرَانِ وَالإِفْرَادِ بِالْحَجِّ، وَفَسْخِ الْحَجِّ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ:

Chapter.What is said regarding Hajj-at-Tamattu, Hajj-al-Qiran and Hajj-al-Ifrad. And whoever has not brought the Hady with him, he should finish the Ihram of Hajj, and make it as Umra, ( and then assume another Ihram for Hajj form Makkah, etc.).

Chapter. Whoever performed Tawaf of the Kabah on reaching Makkah before going to his house then offered two Raka and then went towards As-Safa.

Chapter. The Tawaf of women and men.

Chapter. The permissibility of talking during the Tawaf of the Kabah.

66 بَابُ إِذَا رَأَى سَيْرًا أَوْ شَيْئًا يُكْرَهُ فِي الطَّوَافِ قَطَعَهُ:

Chapter. Whoever saw a string or something like that during the Tawaf and disliked it and cut it.

67 بَابُ لاَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ وَلاَ يَحُجُّ مُشْرِكٌ:

Chapter. It is neither permissible for a naked person to perform Tawaf of the Kabah nor for a Mushrik [polytheist, pagan, idolater, and disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ ] to perform Hajj.

68 بَابُ إِذَا وَقَفَ فِي الطَّوَافِ:

Chapter. If one stops during the Tawaf (should he start from the beginning?).

69 بَابُ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِسُبُوعِهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ:

Chapter. The Prophet ﷺ offered a two Raka prayer after his seven round (of Tawaf of the Kabah).

70 بَابُ مَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَبِ الْكَعْبَةَ، وَلَمْ يَطُفْ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ إِلَى عَرَفَةَ، وَيَرْجِعَ بَعْدَ الطَّوَافِ الأَوَّلِ:

Chapter. Whoever did not go near the Kabah and did not perform Tawaf of the Kabah after the first Tawaf performed on entering Makkah to till he proceeded to Arafat and returned.

Chapter. Whoever offered two Raka prayer of Tawaf outside the mosque.

Chapter. Whoever offered the two Raka (prayer) of Tawaf behind Maqam-Ibrahim (place of Abraham).

Chapter. A menstruating woman can perform all the ceremonies of Hajj except Tawaf of the Kabah. (What is said) regarding the performance of Tawaf [Sa’y (going)] between As-Safa and Al-Marwa without ablution?

82 بَابُ الإِهْلاَلِ مِنَ الْبَطْحَاءِ، وَغَيْرِهَا لِلْمَكِّيِّ وَلِلْحَاجِّ إِذَا خَرَجَ إِلَى مِنًى:

Chapter. Assuming Ihram from Al-Batha and other places by those living in Makkah and by the pilgrims on departing for Mina.

Chapter. One’s speed while one is departing from Arafat.

Chapter. To dismount between Arafat and Jam (i.e., Al-Muzdalifa) (because of a necessity).

95 بَابُ أَمْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالسَّكِينَةِ عِنْدَ الإِفَاضَةِ، وَإِشَارَتِهِ إِلَيْهِمْ بِالسَّوْطِ:

Chapter. The order of the Prophet ﷺ that people should be calm and patient on proceeding (from Arafat) and the waving of his lash towards them.

96 بَابُ الْجَمْعِ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَتَيْنِ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ:

Chapter. The offering of two Salat (prayer) together at Al-Muzdalifa.

97 بَابُ مَنْ جَمَعَ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَمْ يَتَطَوَّعْ:

Chapter. Whoever combined (offered together) the two prayer (Maghrib and Isha prayer) at one time and did not offer any optional prayer.

98 بَابُ مَنْ أَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْهُمَا:

Chapter. Whoever pronounced (one) Adhan (for both) and Iqama for each of them (the Maghrib and the Isha prayer).

99 بَابُ مَنْ قَدَّمَ ضَعَفَةَ أَهْلِهِ بِلَيْلٍ، فَيَقِفُونَ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ وَيَدْعُونَ وَيُقَدِّمُ إِذَا غَابَ الْقَمَرُ:

Chapter. Whosoever sent the weak amongst his family (women and children) early (from Al-Muzdalifa to Mina) at night after the moon had set. They stayed at Al-Muzdalifa and invoked Allah there and proceeded from there when the moon had set.

100 بَابُ مَنْ يُصَلِّي الْفَجْرَ بِجَمْعٍ:

Chapter. At what time is the Fajr prayer to be offered at Jam (i.e., Al-Muzdalifa)?

Chapter. When to depart from Jam (i.e., Al-Muzdalifa).

102 بَابُ التَّلْبِيَةِ وَالتَّكْبِيرِ غَدَاةَ النَّحْرِ، حِينَ يَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ، وَالاِرْتِدَافِ فِي السَّيْرِ:

Chapter. The recitation of Talbiya and Takbir in the morning of the day of Nahr till the Ramy of Jamarat-al-Aqaba and riding behind somebody else on a riding animal.

103 بَابُ: {فَمَنْ تَمَتَّعَ بِالْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَجِّ فَمَا اسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي الْحَجِّ وَسَبْعَةٍ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ تِلْكَ عَشَرَةٌ كَامِلَةٌ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَهْلُهُ حَاضِرِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ} :

Chapter. "... And whosoever perfoms the Umra in the months of Hajj before the Hajj..."

Chapter. The riding over the Budn (camels, cows, oxen for sacrifice).

Chapter. Whoever drove the Budn (sacrificial camels or cows) alongwith him.

Chapter. Buying the Hady on the way.

Chapter. To twist (and make) the garlands for the Budn (Hady camels for sacrifice) and cows.

Chapter. The marking of the Budn (camels for sacrifice).

Chapter. To slaughter (sacrifices) at the Manhar (slaughtering place) of the Prophet ﷺ at Mina.

Chapter. Nahr (Slaughtering with one’s Hady) with one’s own hands.

Chapter. Slaughtering the camels after tying their one leg.

Chapter. To slaughter the Budn (camels for sacrifice) while they are standing.

121 بَابُ لاَ يُعْطَى الْجَزَّارُ مِنَ الْهَدْيِ شَيْئًا:

Chapter. The butcher should not be given anything of the Hady.

122 بَابُ يُتَصَدَّقُ بِجُلُودِ الْهَدْيِ:

Chapter. The skins of Al-Hady are to be given in charity.

Chapter. The covering sheets of Budn are to be given in charity.

124 بَابُ: {وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَنْ لاَ تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ وَأَذِّنْ فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالاً وَعَلَى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِنْ كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ لِيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِنْ بَهِيمَةِ الأَنْعَامِ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْبَائِسَ الْفَقِيرَ ثُمَّ لْيَقْضُوا تَفَثَهُمْ وَلْيُوفُوا نُذُورَهُمْ وَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا بِالْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ حُرُمَاتِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ} :

Chapter. "... sanctify My House for those who circumambulate it..."

Chapter. To get the head-hair cut short after Umra of Hajj-at-Tamattu.

Chapter. The visit [(of the Kabah) to perform Tawaf-al-Ifada] on the Day of Nahr.

131 بَابُ إِذَا رَمَى بَعْدَ مَا أَمْسَى أَوْ حَلَقَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ نَاسِيًا أَوْ جَاهِلاً:

Chapter. If one did the Ramy of the Jamra after Maghrib (evening) or has his head shaved before slaughtering the Hady because of forgetfulness or ignorance.

Chapter. To give religious verdicts near the Jamra while riding an animal.

Chapter. Al-Khutba during the Days of Mina.

Chapter. May those who provide the pilgrims with water stay at Makkah during the nights of Mina?

Chapter. To do the Ramy of the Jimar.

Chapter. To do the Ramy of Jimar from the middle of the valley.

Chapter. The Ramy of the Jimar with seven small stones.

139 بَابُ يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ:

Chapter. To say Alla hu Akbar (Allah is the Most Great) on throwing every pebble.

140 بَابُ مَنْ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ وَلَمْ يَقِفْ:

Chapter. Not standing (for invocation) after doing Ramy of the Jamrat-ul-Aqaba.

141 بَابُ إِذَا رَمَى الْجَمْرَتَيْنِ يَقُومُ وَيُسْهِلُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ:

Chapter. After doing Ramy of the (other) two Jamrat (Dunya and Wusta) one should go and stand on level ground, (and invoke Allah), facing the Qiblah (Kabah at Makkah).

142 بَابُ رَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ عِنْدَ جَمْرَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْوُسْطَى:

Chapter. To camp at Dhi-Tuwa before entering Makkah and to camp at Al-Batha which is at Dhul-Hulaifa on returning from Makkah (to Al-Madina).

The Book of Hajj

Chapter. It is obligatory to perform Hajj (once in a life time) and its superiority.

Chapter. The Statement of Allah: “And proclaim to mankind the Hajj".

Chapter. To go for Hajj on a pack-saddle (of a camel).

Chapter. The superiority of Al-Hajj-ul-Mabrur.

Chapter. The demarcation of Mawaqit for Hajj.

Chapter. The permissibility of talking during the Tawaf of the Kabah.

Chapter. Whoever saw a string or something like that during the Tawaf and disliked it and cut it.

Chapter. It is neither permissible for a naked person to perform Tawaf of the Kabah nor for a Mushrik [polytheist, pagan, idolater, and disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ ] to perform Hajj.

Chapter. If one stops during the Tawaf (should he start from the beginning?).

Chapter. The Prophet ﷺ offered a two Raka prayer after his seven round (of Tawaf of the Kabah).

Chapter. Whoever did not go near the Kabah and did not perform Tawaf of the Kabah after the first Tawaf performed on entering Makkah to till he proceeded to Arafat and returned.

Chapter. Whoever offered two Raka prayer of Tawaf outside the mosque.

Chapter. Whoever offered the two Raka (prayer) of Tawaf behind Maqam-Ibrahim (place of Abraham).
