بَابُ صَلاَةِ الإِمَامِ وَدُعَائِهِ لِصَاحِبِ الصَّدَقَةِ:
Chapter. The invoking and supplicating Allah of the Imam for the one who gives in charity.
Hadith 1497
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، قَالَ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ فُلَانٍ ، فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ ، فَقَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى " .
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Abu Aufa : Whenever a person came to the Prophet with his alms, the Prophet would say, "O Allah! Send your Blessings upon so and so." My father went to the Prophet with his alms and the Prophet said, "O Allah! Send your blessings upon the offspring of Abu Aufa."
وَقَوْلِهِ : خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِمْ بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ صَلاتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَهُمْ سورة التوبة آية 103 .
Allah, the Exalted, says (in Surah At-Tawbah): "Take alms from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it, and pray for them. Verily, your prayer is a source of security for them." Until the end of the verse.
Hadith 1497
