كتاب العمل في الصلاةThe Book of Dealing With Actions In As-Salat (The Prayer)
بَابُ التَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ:
Chapter. Clapping [during the Salat (prayer)] is permissible only for women.
Hadith 1203
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " التَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The saying 'Sub Han Allah' is for men and clapping is for women." (If something happens in the prayer, the men can invite the attention of the Imam by saying "Sub Han Allah". And women, by clapping their hands).
Hadith 1204
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : "التَّسْبِيحُ للرِّجَالِ وَالتَّصْفِيحُ لِلنِّسَاءِ " .
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d: The Prophet said, "The saying 'Sub Han Allah' is for men and clapping is for women.
