The Book of Adhan (Sufa-tus-Salat)
بَابُ اسْتِئْذَانِ الْمَرْأَةِ زَوْجَهَا بِالْخُرُوجِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ:
(166) Chapter. A woman shall ask her husband’s permission (on wishing) to go to the mosque.
Hadith 873
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَتِ امْرَأَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْنَعْهَا " .
Narrated Salim bin `Abdullah: My father said, "The Prophet said, 'If the wife of any one of you asks permission (to go to the mosque) do not forbid her."
