The Book of Adhan
بَابُ إِذَا صَلَّى ثُمَّ أَمَّ قَوْمًا:
(66) Chapter. If one offers Salat (prayer) and then leads the people in Salat.
Hadith 711
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، وَأَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ مُعَاذٌ يُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ يَأْتِي قَوْمَهُ فَيُصَلِّي بِهِمْ " .
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: Mu`adh used to pray with the Prophet and then go and lead his people (tribe) in the prayer.
