بَابُ مَتَى يَسْجُدُ مَنْ خَلْفَ الإِمَامِ:
Chapter. When should those who are behind the Imam prostrate?
Hadith 690
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْبَرَاءُ وَهُوَ غَيْرُ كَذُوبٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَالَ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ، لَمْ يَحْنِ أَحَدٌ مِنَّا ظَهْرَهُ حَتَّى يَقَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاجِدًا ، ثُمَّ نَقَعُ سُجُودًا بَعْدَهُ " ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ نَحْوَهُ بِهَذَا .
Narrated Al-Bara: (and he was not a liar) When Allah's Apostle said, "Sami`a l-lahu liman hamidah" none of us bent his back (for prostration) till the Prophet prostrated and then we would prostrate after him. Narrated Abu 'Is-haq: As above.
قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا .
And Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when the Imam prostrates, you should also prostrate. (This hadith has been mentioned earlier.)
Hadith 690
قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا .
And Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when the Imam prostrates, you should also prostrate. (This hadith has been mentioned earlier.)
