كتاب العيدينThe Book of The Two Eid (Prayers and Festivals).
بَابُ الْمَشْيِ وَالرُّكُوبِ إِلَى الْعِيدِ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلاَ إِقَامَةٍ:Chapter. Walking and riding for the Eid prayer. The Eid prayer is offered before delivering the Khutba (religious talk) and there is no Adhan or Iqama for it.
Hadith 960

وأَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَا : " لَمْ يَكُنْ يُؤَذَّنُ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَلَا يَوْمَ الْأَضْحَى " .
Ata told me that Ibn Abbas and Jabir bin Abdullah, had said, "There was no Adhan for the prayer of `Id-ul-Fitr and `Id-ul-Aqha."
