Aisha also narrated: I heard Allah's Apostle in his prayer seeking refuge with Allah from the afflictions of Ad-Dajjal.

Hadith Footnote:
After "wa idha wa‘ada akhlafa," in some manuscripts, there is this additional phrase: "And Muhammad bin Yusuf said: I heard Khalaf bin ‘Amir say regarding 'al-Masih' and 'al-Masikh'—there is no difference between them, and they are one; one of them is ‘Isa (alayhis salam) and the other is the Dajjal." That is, Muhammad bin Yusuf said: I heard Khalaf bin ‘Amir say that there is no difference between Masih and Masikh; both are the same. ‘Isa (alayhis salam) can also be called Masih, and so can the Dajjal.
