The Book of Tauhid (Islamic Monotheism)
بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّ رَحْمَةَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ} :
(25) Chapter. What is said regarding the Statement of Allah: “... Surely, Allah’s Mercy is (ever) near unto the good-doers.” (V.7:56)
Hadith 7450
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَيُصِيبَنَّ أَقْوَامًا سَفْعٌ مِنَ النَّارِ بِذُنُوبٍ أَصَابُوهَا عُقُوبَةً ، ثُمَّ يُدْخِلُهُمُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِهِ ، يُقَالُ لَهُمْ : الْجَهَنَّمِيُّونَ " ، وَقَالَ هَمَّامٌ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسٌ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, "Some people who will be scorched by Hell (Fire) as a punishment for sins they have committed, and then Allah will admit them into Paradise by the grant of His Mercy. These people will be called, 'Al-JahannamiyyLin' (the people of Hell).
