Hadith 7427

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " النَّاسُ يَصْعَقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، فَإِذَا أَنَا بِمُوسَى آخِذٌ بِقَائِمَةٍ مِنْ قَوَائِمِ الْعَرْشِ " .
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "The people will fall unconscious on the Day of Resurrection, then suddenly I will see Moses holding one of the pillars of the Throne."

Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues: The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) indicated towards this verse of the Noble Qur’an:


“And the Trumpet will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall unconscious, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.” (Surah Az-Zumar: 68)
