The Book of Holding Fast To The Qur’An and The Sunna
بَابُ الاِقْتِدَاءِ بِسُنَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
(2) Chapter. Following the Sunna (legal ways) of the Prophet (p.b.u.h.).
Hadith 7279
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " لَأَقْضِيَنَّ بَيْنَكُمَا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira and Zaid bin Khalid: We were with the Prophet when he said (to two men), "I shall judge between you according to Allah's Book (Laws).
