بَابُ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لاَ تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا، يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»:Chapter. The statement of Prophet (p.b.u.h.): “Do not renegade as disbelievers after me by striking (cutting) the neck of one another.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِشْكَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَال : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَرْتَدُّوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ " .
Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, "Beware! Do not renegade as (disbelievers) after me by striking (cutting) the necks of one another."

Hadith Commentary:
The intention of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was that fighting and quarreling are not the way of Muslims; this is the practice of the disbelievers. Therefore, you must never adopt this way. But alas, Muslims very quickly forgot this message of the Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
Inna lillahi wa asafa.
