Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, "The people will be gathered barefooted, naked, and uncircumcised." I said, "O Allah's Apostle! Will the men and the women look at each other?" He said, "The situation will be too hard for them to pay attention to that."

Hadith Commentary:
On the Day of Resurrection, people will come to the plain of gathering completely naked, as is evident from the following verse:
"And you will come to Us alone just as We created you the first time." ()
In one narration it is stated:
"Due to the terrors of the Day of Resurrection, men will not look towards women, nor will women look towards men, because everyone will be preoccupied with their own situation." (al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim: 4/609)
In another narration, when the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) mentioned this hadith, Aisha (radi Allahu anha) asked:
"O Messenger of Allah! What will happen regarding the private and concealed parts?" He replied:
"Recite the following verse from Surah Abasa:
'On that Day, every person will have enough to make him heedless of others.'" (Sunan al-Nasa'i, al-Jana'iz, Hadith: 2085)

Hufat: Plural of "haf", barefoot.
(2)
Urat: Plural of "ari", naked body, without clothing.
(3)
Ghurl: Plural of "aghral", uncircumcised.
Benefits and Issues:
It is established from this hadith that people will be resurrected in the same state in which they came into the world; apart from their deeds, they will possess nothing of the world, as is mentioned in the Noble Qur’an: “Just as We began your creation, We shall repeat it.” Prophets, verse number (104) And due to the terror and severity of the circumstances, no one will look towards anyone else; after that, clothing will be given.

Urdu Hashiyah (Commentary):
That is, there will be such terror and fear that no person will even be conscious enough to look around, just as happens at the time of accidents and similar events. The Day of Resurrection (Qiyamah) is the greatest calamity, the likes of which cannot even be imagined in this world.

➊ When people will emerge from their graves, at that time they will be barefoot and unclothed; later, they will be given garments according to their respective ranks.
➋ The affairs of the Day of Resurrection are extremely severe. Some stages are such that no one will be aware of anyone else. However, in some stages, there will be conversation with one another.
