The Book of Ar-Riqaq (Softening of The Hearts)
بَابُ: «الْجَنَّةُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مِنْ شِرَاكِ نَعْلِهِ، وَالنَّارُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ»:
(29) Chapter. Paradise is nearer to anyone of you than the Shirak of his shoe, and so is the (Hell) Fire.
Hadith 6489
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَصْدَقُ بَيْتٍ قَالَهُ الشَّاعِرُ : أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللَّهَ بَاطِلُ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The truest poetic verse ever said by a poet, is: Indeed! Everything except Allah, is perishable."
