Hadith Commentary:
(1)
In these hadiths, the greed of human beings regarding wealth and property has been described, indicating that the desire to accumulate worldly possessions is almost inherent in human nature. Even if their house is filled with wealth, and forests upon forests and fields upon fields are overflowing with riches, still their hearts are not satisfied and they desire even more. This is the state of their craving until their last breath in life. Only in the grave do they find relief from this hunger. However, those servants who turn their hearts towards Allah Ta'ala instead of the world and its wealth, and establish a connection with Him, receive special favor from Allah Ta'ala. Allah Ta'ala grants them contentment and richness of the soul (ghina al-nafs) even in this world, and then this worldly life passes with great pleasure and tranquility. In another hadith, this is further clarified, where the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said:
"Whoever's intention is to seek the Hereafter, Allah Ta'ala will grant contentment to his heart from Himself, and will rectify his deteriorated circumstances by Himself, and then the world will come to him in humiliation and submission. And whoever's intention is to seek the world, Allah Ta'ala will place the signs of poverty between his eyes, and will worsen his circumstances, and then he will only receive from the world that which has already been decreed for him." (Musnad Ahmad: 183/5)

In any case, in these hadiths, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has warned us about the trial of the world and has instructed us to keep away from it.
Wallahu al-musta‘an.
