Narrated Abu Huraira: The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! The rich people have got the highest degrees of prestige and the permanent pleasures (in this life and the life to come in the Hereafter)." He said, "How is that?" They said, "The rich pray as we pray, and strive in Allah's Cause as we do, and spend from their surplus wealth in charity, while we have no wealth (to spend likewise)." He said, "Shall I not tell you a thing, by doing which, you will catch up with those who are ahead of you and supersede those who will come after you; and nobody will be able to do such a good deed as you do except the one who does the same (deed as you do). That deed is to recite 'Subhan Allah ten times, and 'Al-Hamduli l-lah ten times, and 'AllahuAkbar' ten times after every prayer."

Hadith Commentary:
(1)
In one narration, it is mentioned that the poor and the emigrants (fuqara wa muhajirun) again presented themselves before the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and said:
O Messenger of Allah! Our wealthy brothers have come to know of our deeds and they too have started doing them. So the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“This is the bounty of Allah; He gives it to whom He wills.”
(Sahih Muslim, al-Masajid, Hadith: 1347 (595))
In one narration of Sahih al-Bukhari, instead of saying these words ten times each, it is mentioned to say them thirty-three times each.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Adhan, Hadith: 843)
(2)
The great reward for these words is because they declare Allah free from all deficiencies and affirm His perfections.
And Allah knows best.
In these ahadith, the mention is of making remembrance (dhikr) instead of supplication (du‘a).
Hafiz Ibn Hajar rahimahullah writes that the relevance to the chapter heading is that the one who engages in remembrance receives the same as the one who supplicates, provided he is so occupied in remembrance that he is unable to supplicate to Allah.
