Hadith 6175

Abdullah added: Allah's Apostle stood up before the people (delivering a sermon), and after praising and glorifying Allah as He deserved, he mentioned the Ad-Dajjal saying, "I warn you against him, and there has been no prophet but warned his followers against him. Noah warned his followers against him but I am telling you about him, something which no prophet has told his people of, and that is: Know that he is blind in one eye where as Allah is not so."

Hadith Commentary:
In this narration, the use of the word "ikhsa’" (be gone/far removed) from you by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is mentioned.
It is for this reason that this hadith has been brought here.

Hadith Commentary:
(1)
Imam Bukhari rahimahullah has mentioned the hadith of Ibn Sayyad solely because in it the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used the word "ikhsa’" for Ibn Sayyad, which is a term used to drive away dogs.
Since he had committed grave acts, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used a derogatory term for him.
(2)
From this it is understood that a person who is not loyal to Allah and His Messenger is not deserving of honor; in the sight of Allah, he is like animals, or even more humiliated and disgraced than them.
If such words are used for such a person as are used to drive away dogs, then there is nothing objectionable in it.
And Allah knows best.
