The Book of Al-Adab (Good Manners)
بَابُ مَنْ كَفَّرَ أَخَاهُ بِغَيْرِ تَأْوِيلٍ فَهْوَ كَمَا قَالَ:
(73) Chapter. Whoever calls his brother a Kafir (disbeliever) without any grounds, and he does not think that he is such, then he himself is such, what he says.
Hadith 6104
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ قَالَ لِأَخِيهِ يَا كَافِرُ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِهَا أَحَدُهُمَا " .
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, 'If anyone says to his brother, 'O misbeliever! Then surely, one of them such."
