The Book of Al-Adab (Good Manners)

بَابُ كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ:
(33) Chapter. Enjoining all that is Al-Maruf (i.e., Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) is considered as a Sadaqa (charitable gift).
Hadith 6021
حَدَّثَنَا
عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ
، حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو غَسَّانَ
، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ
، عَنْ
جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ " .
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: The Prophet said, Enjoining, all that is good is a Sadaqa."
