Explanation:
The correspondence between the hadith and the chapter is evident in that the Prophet first performed the ‘Asr prayer and then the Maghrib prayer. It is thus established that maintaining the prescribed order is necessary when making up missed prayers.

Hadith Commentary:
(1)
It appears that Imam Bukhari rahimahullah is inclined to the view that, just as with present (obligatory) prayers, missed (qada) prayers should also be performed in their proper order, as is evidenced by the aforementioned hadith. In this narration, only the Asr prayer is mentioned, whereas from other narrations it is known that three prayers—Dhuhr, Asr, and Maghrib—were missed, which were then performed in order at the time of Isha, and finally the Isha prayer was performed in congregation.
Although some jurists hold the opinion that the current (present) prayer should be performed first, and then the previously missed prayers should be performed, the blessed example of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is that the missed prayers should be performed in order first, and then the present prayer should be performed.
Although the mere action of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam does not indicate obligation, there is goodness and blessing in following the way of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Thus, it is mentioned in the hadith that on the day of the Battle of the Trench, the polytheists of Makkah kept the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam so occupied that four prayers were missed. When he found an opportunity, he ordered Bilal radi Allahu anhu, who gave the adhan (call to prayer), then gave the iqamah (second call), and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam led the Dhuhr prayer. Then he gave the iqamah and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam led the Asr prayer. Then he gave the iqamah and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam led the Maghrib prayer. Then he gave the iqamah and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam led the Isha prayer. (Musnad Ahmad: 375/1)
(2)
From this hadith, it is understood that maintaining the order between missed (qada) prayers and the present (current) prayer is necessary. In addition, regarding prayer, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: "Pray as you have seen me praying." (Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Adhan, Hadith: 631)
According to this Prophetic instruction, all the actions and deeds related to prayer that have reached us, in our view, it is necessary to perform all of them. And Allah knows best.
