The Book of Dress
بَابُ التَّرْجِيلِ وَالتَّيَمُّنِ:
(77) Chapter. To start combing the hair from the right side.
Hadith 5926
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ التَّيَمُّنُ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ فِي تَرَجُّلِهِ وَوُضُوئِهِ " .
'Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet used to like to start from the right side as far as possible in combing and in performing ablution.
