Hadith Commentary:
This is the incident that occurred during the Battle of Ta’if, when the Ansar said that you are giving the spoils of war to the people of Quraysh but not to us, even though the blood of Quraysh is still dripping from our swords. In response, you (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Are you not pleased that other people will return with camels and horses, while you will return to Madinah with me? Or, are you not the owners of the treasures of both worlds?”
At this, the Ansar expressed their heartfelt satisfaction and reassured you (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
Radi Allahu anhum wa radu ‘anhu. Ameen.
Here too, the mention of the red tent occurs.
