The Book of The Times of As-Salat (The Prayers) and Its Superiority
بَابُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الْفَجْرِ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ الشَّمْسُ:
(30) Chapter. What is said regarding the offering of As-Salat (the prayers) between the Fajr prayer and sunrise.
Hadith 583
وَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا طَلَعَ حَاجِبُ الشَّمْسِ فَأَخِّرُوا الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ ، وَإِذَا غَابَ حَاجِبُ الشَّمْسِ فَأَخِّرُوا الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى تَغِيبَ " ، تَابَعَهُ عَبْدَةُ .
Ibn `Umar said, "Allah's Apostle said, 'If the edge of the sun appears (above the horizon) delay the prayer till it becomes high, and if the edge of the sun disappears, delay the prayer till it sets (disappears completely).' "
