Hadith Commentary:
(1)
In one narration, it is reported that Aisha radi Allahu anha said:
"Adopt talbinah, which is disliked yet beneficial, because whenever someone in the house of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would fall ill, a pot of talbinah would remain on the fire until the matter of the patient was decided—meaning, either he would recover or he would pass away and be beloved to Allah."
(Musnad Ahmad: 138/6)
(2)
Hisa’ and talbinah are both the same.
It is easily digestible, and after its consumption, sleep generally follows.
And Allah knows best.
