The Book of Drinks
بَابُ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فَمِ السِّقَاءِ:
(24) Chapter. To drink water from the mouth of a water-skin.
Hadith 5628
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : " نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ " .
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet forbade the drinking of water directly from the mouth of a water skin .
