The Book of Slaughtering and Hunting
بَابُ لاَ يُذَكَّى بِالسِّنِّ وَالْعَظْمِ وَالظُّفُرِ:
(20) Chapter. Not to slaughter with a tooth, a bone or a nail.
Hadith 5506
حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبَايَةَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلْ يَعْنِي مَا أَنْهَرَ الدَّمَ إِلَّا السِّنَّ وَالظُّفُرَ " .
Narrated Rafi` bin Khadij: The Prophet said, "Eat what is slaughtered (with any instrument) that makes blood flow out, except what is slaughtered with a tooth or a nail.'
