The Book of Divorce
بَابُ قِصَّةِ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ:
(41) Chapter. The story of Fatima bint Qais. And the Statement of Allah: "And fear Allah your Lord (O Muslims), and turn them not out of their (husband’s) homes..." (V.65:1)
Hadith 5324
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : " مَا لِفَاطِمَةَ أَلَا تَتَّقِي اللَّهَ ؟ يَعْنِي فِي قَوْلِهَا : لَا سُكْنَى وَلَا نَفَقَةَ " .
Narrated Al-Qasim: Aisha said, "What is wrong with Fatima? Why doesn't she fear Allah?" by saying that a divorced lady is not entitled to be provided with residence and sustenance (by her husband).
