Hadith 5138

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَمُجَمِّعٍ ابْنَيْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ ، عَنْ خَنْسَاءَ بِنْتِ خِذَامٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ ، " أَنَّ أَبَاهَا زَوَّجَهَا وَهْيَ ثَيِّبٌ ، فَكَرِهَتْ ذَلِكَ ، فَأَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَرَدَّ نِكَاحَهُ " .
Narrated Khansa bint Khidam Al-Ansariya: that her father gave her in marriage when she was a matron and she disliked that marriage. So she went to Allah's Apostle and he declared that marriage invalid.

Jurisprudential Explanation:
➊ If a woman is married, and then her husband passes away, or she is divorced, or her marriage is annulled, then a second marriage cannot take place without her clear consent.
➋ Every issue that contradicts the Book (Qur’an) and the Sunnah is rejected.
