Narrated Anas bin Malik: (The Caliph `Uthman ordered Zaid bin Thabit, Sa`id bin Al-As, `Abdullah bin Az-Zubair and `Abdur- Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Hisham to write the Qur'an in the form of a book (Mushafs) and said to them. "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit (Al-Ansari) regarding any dialectic Arabic utterance of the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, for the Qur'an was revealed in this dialect." So they did it.

Hadith Footnote:
In the above hadith, in place of the words "wa akhbarani Anas ibn Malik," some manuscripts have "fa-akhbarani." This hadith is concise; the complete hadith will appear in the following chapter, where the meaning of this conjunction "waaw al-'atf" will become clear.

Hadith Commentary:
1.
The Noble Qur’an, in the form of separate surahs and verses, was present with Umm al-Mu’minin Hafsah radi Allahu anha.
Uthman radi Allahu anhu said:
It should be compiled together in book form, and if you differ regarding the writing of any Arabic word, then write it according to the dialect of Quraysh, because the Noble Qur’an was revealed in their dialect.
(Fath al-Bari: 13/9)
Thus, there was a disagreement among the committee regarding the word "al-tabut."
Zayd ibn Thabit radi Allahu anhu said:
It should be written as "al-tabuwah," while Abdullah ibn Zubayr radi Allahu anhu and his companions said it should be written as "al-tabut."
When the matter was presented before Uthman radi Allahu anhu, he said:
Write it as "al-tabut," because this is the dialect of Quraysh.
(‘Umdat al-Qari: 531/13)

It should be clear that the aforementioned heading is not independent but rather supplementary, which has been stated separately due to a particular benefit; therefore, the next hadith is related to the previous heading, which is about the manner in which the Noble Qur’an was revealed.
And Allah knows best.
