Hadith 4939

Mujahid said that «كتابه بشماله‏» means he will receive his record of deeds from behind his back. «وما وسق‏» refers to animals and all those things upon which night falls. «أن لن يحور‏» means that he will not return. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that «يوعون» means they conceal.
Sulaiman bin Harb narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Zaid narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, and from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Narrated Aisha: I heard the Prophet saying... "He surely will receive an easy reckoning." 84.8 Narrated Aisha: Allah's Messenger said," (On the Day of Resurrection) any one whose account will be taken will be ruined (i.e. go to Hell)." I said, "O Allah's Messenger ! May Allah make me be sacrificed for you. Doesn't Allah say: "Then as for him who will be given his record in his right hand, he surely will receive an easy reckoning.?" (84.7-8) He replied, "That is only the presentation of the accounts; but he whose record is questioned, will be ruined."

Hadith Commentary:
1.
In the Noble Qur’an, the words سوء الحساب (severe reckoning) are used for taking a harsh account from evil-doers, meaning that their reckoning will be taken in a severe manner.
The explanation of an easy reckoning is found in another hadith:
Aishah radi Allahu anha narrates that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to recite this supplication in a part of the prayer:
“O Allah! Make my reckoning easy.”
After the prayer, I asked, “What is meant by an easy reckoning?”
He replied:
“Allah, Exalted is He, will look at his book of deeds and will forgive him.”
(Musnad Ahmad: 48/6)

2.
In another hadith it is stated:
“Allah, Exalted is He, will take His servant in His veil and will say to him:
‘Did you commit such-and-such sin? Do you recognize such-and-such sin?’ Then Allah, Exalted is He, will say:
‘I had concealed them for you in the world. Today I forgive you for them.’
Then he will be given his book of good deeds.”
