Hadith 4879

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said the meaning of «حور‏» is "those with black eyes," and Mujahid said the meaning of «مقصورات‏» is "their gaze and soul will be fixed upon their husbands (they will not cast their eyes upon anyone except their husbands)." The meaning of «قاصرات » is "she will not desire anyone except her husband." The meaning of «فى الخيام» is "they will be kept safe in tents."
Narrated `Abdullah bin Qais: Allah's Messenger said, "In Paradise there is a pavilion made of a single hollow pearl sixty miles wide, in each corner of which there are wives who will not see those in the other corners; and the believers will visit and enjoy them. And there are two gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of silver; and two other gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of so-and-so (i.e. gold) and nothing will prevent the people staying in the Garden of Eden from seeing their Lord except the curtain of Majesty over His Face."

Hadith Commentary:

It is understood from this hadith that in Paradise, the women—comprising both the houris and the wives from this world—will be more numerous than the men.
It is narrated from Abu al-Darda’ radi Allahu anhu that the tent in Paradise, which will be made from a hollow pearl, will have seventy doors.
(al-Zuhd by Ibn al-Mubarak, p. 487, Dar al-Kutub al-‘Ilmiyyah edition)
The word “tent” here alludes to the noble verse:
()
“Houris, secluded in tents.”
(al-Rahman: 55:72)
Accordingly, Imam al-Bukhari rahimahullah has mentioned this hadith in the commentary of this noble verse, in which it is explicitly stated that the tent of hollow pearl will be sixty miles high.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Tafsir:
Hadith 4879)

Imam al-Bukhari rahimahullah has described the attributes of Paradise, stating that there will be tents of this kind, made from a single pearl.
In any case, the people of Paradise will be granted palaces in Paradise.
Most likely, these tents will be used during journeys.
And Allah knows best.
