Narrated Mus`ab: I asked my father, "Was the Verse:-- 'Say: (O Muhammad) Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of their deeds?'(18.103) revealed regarding Al-Haruriyya?" He said, "No, but regarding the Jews and the Christians, for the Jews disbelieved Muhammad and the Christians disbelieved in Paradise and say that there are neither meals nor drinks therein. Al- Hururiyya are those people who break their pledge to Allah after they have confirmed that they will fulfill it, and Sa`d used to call them 'Al-Fasiqin (evildoers who forsake Allah's obedience).

Hadith Commentary:
The Haruriyyah sect is another name for the Khawarij.
They were the ones who confronted Ali radi Allahu anhu; these people had gathered in a village called Harur, which was near Kufa.
Abdur Razzaq has narrated that Ibn Kawwa, who was the leader of these Khawarij, began to ask Ali radi Allahu anhu about the meaning of: ﴿بِالْأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَالًا﴾ (“those whose efforts have been wasted in this life”).
He replied that, unfortunately, these people of Harur are included among them.
The Christians used to say that Paradise is only a place of spiritual pleasures, whereas their statement is completely false.
In the Noble Qur’an, the conditions of Hell and Paradise are presented with the belief that the comforts and pleasures, as well as the punishments and pains there, will all be physical just like the worldly comforts, pleasures, pains, and sufferings; and whoever denies this is a denier of the Qur’an.

Hadith Commentary:
➊
Harura is the name of a village near Kufa where the Kharijites gathered and raised the banner of rebellion against Ali radi Allahu anhu. They are called Kharijites and are extreme opponents of Ahl al-Sunnah. Their leader was the same person who objected to the distribution by the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, saying that you are not acting with justice and fairness. Ali radi Allahu anhu killed him during his own rule. Regarding him, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: From his progeny there will be people who will perform very lengthy prayers, will observe very beautiful fasts, but they will have no share in the religion.
➋
Ibn Kawwa, who was the leader of the Kharijites, asked Ali radi Allahu anhu, “Who are the people referred to in ﴿بِالْأَخْسَرِينَ أَعْمَالًا﴾ (those whose efforts have been wasted)?” Ali radi Allahu anhu replied to him that these wretched people of Harura are also included among them. (Fath al-Bari: 8/540)
➌
The Christians hold the belief that in Paradise there will only be spiritual pleasures. This belief is utterly false and baseless, because the people of Paradise will receive all the blessings of Paradise, whether they pertain to the body or the soul. Yes, the Christians will certainly be deprived of this. Regarding the people of Paradise, Allah the Exalted has said: “For them in Paradise is whatever their hearts desire and whatever delights their eyes.” (al-Zukhruf 43:71) Even to the extent that in Paradise, the people of Paradise will also be given houris and youthful servants. And Allah knows best.
