وَقَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: {إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ}.
And the statement of Allah, «إنك ميت وإنهم ميتون * ثم إنكم يوم القيامة عند ربكم تختصمون»: "You will surely die, and they too will surely die. Then on the Day of Resurrection you will all dispute before your Lord."
وَقَالَ يُونُسُ : عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ عُرْوَةُ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ : " يَا عَائِشَةُ ، مَا أَزَالُ أَجِدُ أَلَمَ الطَّعَامِ الَّذِي أَكَلْتُ بِخَيْبَرَ ، فَهَذَا أَوَانُ وَجَدْتُ انْقِطَاعَ أَبْهَرِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ السُّمِّ " .
Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet in his ailment in which he died, used to say, "O `Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison."

Hadith Commentary:

At the time of the conquest of Khaybar, a Jewish woman mixed poison into the meat of a goat and sent it to the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) as a gift.
You had just placed a morsel in your mouth when, through revelation, you were informed about it.
This hadith alludes to that incident.

The "abhar" is a vein that passes through the back and is connected to the heart.
If it ruptures, death occurs.
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) became aware of this near the time of his passing.
In this regard, you are considered a martyr (shaheed), even though you passed away on your bed.
The meaning of your statement was that the poison had been subdued and concealed, but when weakness set in and the power of resistance was no longer present, its effect overcame the body and its pain began to be felt.
