Narrated Majashi: I took my brother to the Prophet after the Conquest (of Mecca) and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have come to you with my brother so that you may take a pledge of allegiance from him for migration." The Prophet said, The people of migration (i.e. those who migrated to Medina before the Conquest) enjoyed the privileges of migration (i.e. there is no need for migration anymore)." I said to the Prophet, "For what will you take his pledge of allegiance?" The Prophet said, "I will take his pledge of allegiance for Islam, Belief, and for Jihad (i.e. fighting in Allah's Cause).

Hadith Commentary:
It is evident that in the pure eras of the Companions (radi Allahu anhum) and the Followers (Tabi‘in), discussions of the Prophetic hadiths used to take place among the Muslims, and they would also have the hadiths verified by their elders.
In this manner, the treasure of Prophetic hadiths has been preserved in its authentic state for all times until the Day of Judgment, just as the Noble Qur’an is preserved, and this is a great proof of the truthfulness of Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
Those who deny the authentic hadiths are, in reality, ignorant friends of Islam, and in this way, they wish to erase the pure biography of the Prophet of Islam (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), but their impure efforts will never succeed.
Along with Islam and the Qur’an, the pure treasure of the Prophetic hadiths will also always remain preserved.
Similarly, this accessible translation of Sahih al-Bukhari, along with its commentary, will continue to be a means of guidance for many pure souls.
Insha’Allah al-‘Aziz.
