Hadith 4076

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Wrath gets severe on a person killed by a prophet, and Allah's Wrath became severe on him who had caused the face of Allah's Apostle to bleed.

Hadith Commentary:
These collective hadiths depict the extremely perilous aspect of the Battle of Uhud.
That is, the blessed face of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was wounded.
Your four front teeth were martyred, which caused you immense pain.
The one who committed this act was a disbeliever named Abdullah bin Qami’ah, upon whom the curse of Allah will descend until the Day of Judgment.
The second incident in this battle was that the famous disbeliever of Makkah, Ubayy bin Khalaf, was killed by the blessed hand of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) himself.
Although you did not wish to kill anyone with your own blessed hand, this is a clear proof of the extreme wretchedness of Ubayy bin Khalaf, that he himself was consigned to Hell by the hand of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).

Hadith Commentary:

These ahadith present an extremely dangerous aspect of the Battle of Uhud: that the blessed face of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was wounded.
His two front blessed teeth were martyred, which caused him immense pain.
The rings of his helmet became embedded in his blessed head.

It should be noted that Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) participated in the Battle of Uhud.
Such narrations are called "mursal of the Companions (radi Allahu anhum)" which, according to the hadith scholars, are considered authoritative evidence.
(Fath al-Bari: 7/466.
)

In any case, these ahadith establish that the noble Prophets (alayhim as-salam) are human beings, and the hardships that befall other people also befall the Prophets, so that people may know that they too are the creation of Allah and are subject to trials and tribulations.
And Allah knows best.
